I worked with Bev for a number of years between 1993 and 2002 when she worked at Woodside for Eastbourne and County Healthcare NHS Trust. I will always remember her as having a wicked sense of humour and always laughing with her colleagues Dionne and Anne. The payments office was always such a jolly place to be. Sadly, I only recently found out about Bev's passing from a mutual friend who got in touch when she heard that my husband had been diagnosed with cancer and was being cared for at St Wilfrids Hospice. He too had a very short battle with cancer and passed away at the end of November 2015. My heart goes out to Bev's family as I know only too well the pain of losing such a very special person.
